1. Overview
This screen provides a suite of diagnostic tools for troubleshooting CPE device connectivity and performance issues. Operators can perform speed tests, ping tests, view network maps, and initialize devices to gather essential troubleshooting data. These diagnostics help identify connection problems, measure performance metrics, and verify network configurations.
2. Functionality and Usage
2.1. Speed Test
Performs download and upload speed diagnostics to measure connection performance.

Select CPE ID Type – Choose Serial or MAC to identify the device.

Enter CPE ID – Provide the serial number or MAC address of the device.

Run Speed Test – Click to initiate download and upload tests.

Timeout – Optionally specify a custom timeout value (in seconds).

2.2. Ping Test
Performs connectivity testing to a specified destination.

Select CPE ID Type – Choose Serial or MAC to identify the device.

Enter CPE ID – Provide the serial number or MAC address of the device.

Ping URL – Enter destination URL or IP address (e.g., google.com or 8.8.8.8).

Run Ping Test – Click to initiate the test.

Timeout – Optionally specify a custom timeout value (in seconds).

2.3. Network Map
Retrieves a list of all clients connected to the CPE device’s network.

Select CPE ID Type – Choose Serial or MAC to identify the device.

Enter CPE ID – Provide the serial number or MAC address of the device.

Get Network Map – Click to retrieve the client list from either:

Device (via ACS) – Retrieves real-time data directly from the device.
-
Database – Retrieves last known configuration from the ACS database.

Timeout – Optionally specify a custom timeout value (in seconds).
Results include a list of connected clients with:

Object name (host instance in the device parameters tree)
-
IP address
-
Host name
-
MAC address
-
Interface type (Ethernet, WiFi, etc.)

Active status (true/false)
2.4. Device Initialization
Performs a refresh of all device parameter values (excluding diagnostics-related parameters).

Select CPE ID Type – Choose Serial or MAC to identify the device.

Enter CPE ID – Provide the serial number or MAC address of the device.

Initialize Device – Click to refresh device parameters via the ACS.
-
Timeout – Optionally specify a custom timeout value (in seconds).
This operation synchronizes the ACS database with current device values, ensuring subsequent operations have accurate device information.
