Wireless Management
1. Overview
This screen provides a comprehensive interface for configuring and managing wireless network settings on CPE devices. Operators can view current wireless configurations, modify settings such as SSID and security parameters, and apply changes to devices in real-time or as part of scheduled provisioning.
2. Functionality and Usage
2.1. Viewing Wireless Settings

Select CPE ID Type – Choose Serial or MAC to identify the device.

Enter CPE ID – Provide the serial number or MAC address of the device.

Get Wireless Settings – Click to retrieve current wireless configuration from either:

Device (via ACS) – Retrieves real-time data directly from the device.
-
Database – Retrieves last known configuration from the ACS database.

Retrieved wireless information includes:

State (enabled/disabled)
-
SSID (network name)
-
Security type (Unsecure, WEP, WPA, WPA2, Mixed, etc.)

Channel settings (for enhanced mode)

Auto channel selection status
2.2. Configuring Wireless Networks
2.2.1. Basic Configuration

Wireless State – Enable or disable the wireless network.

SSID – Set the network name (Service Set Identifier).

Security Type – Select from available security modes:

Unsecure (Open)

WEP (legacy)

WPA

WPA2

Mixed (WPA and WPA2)

Enterprise modes (requiring RADIUS server settings)

Encryption Key – Set the wireless password with appropriate length requirements based on security type.

For devices supporting enhanced wireless features:

Channel Settings – Select specific channel or enable auto channel selection.

Channel List – View available channels for the device.
2.2.3. Enterprise Security Options
When using Enterprise security types, configure:

RADIUS Server IP – Primary authentication server address.

Secondary RADIUS Server IP – Backup authentication server address.

RADIUS Port – Server port numbers for authentication.

RADIUS Secret – Authentication credentials for RADIUS handshaking.

Rekeying Interval – Time interval for key regeneration (in seconds).
