Edit Safely

Before you edit

  1. Confirm your role: == Roles & permissions

    VIEWER

    Read-only access. Can browse and export configurations.

    EDITOR

    VIEWER access + can edit configurations (create/update/delete/import).

    ADMIN

    EDITOR access + user management (create/edit/disable/delete users).

  2. Export a snapshot first: Export a Snapshot.

  3. Prefer small changes and verify results after each save/import.

  4. If the module requires a client type, confirm it matches your intent (DEF/MC/SC).

After you edit

  1. Refresh the list/table.

  2. Re-open the edited item to confirm values.

  3. If the module affects devices, coordinate rollout timing with your team.
