Observability
The Provision Portal UI container is a static-asset server (Nginx) plus a startup entrypoint. Observability is therefore mostly about container health and Nginx logs; application behaviour is observed in the browser and, for data operations, in the Provision Portal backend.
Container health
Check the container is up and serving:
docker ps -f name=provision-portal-ui
curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" http://localhost:8880/provision-portal/
Logs
# Container (entrypoint + Nginx to stdout/stderr)
docker compose logs -f provision-portal-ui
The entrypoint logs the nginx.conf render (with the substituted FT_PROV_API_URL) and the
app.config.json patch — grep those lines to confirm startup succeeded (see
Installation & Deployment).
Browser-side
The app surfaces user-facing errors via ngx-toastr (driven by ErrorHandlerInterceptor). For
data-operation issues, inspect the browser DevTools Network / Console tabs and correlate with the
Provision Portal backend logs.
