Getting Started
This section helps you quickly understand what the Provision Portal UI is, who it is for, and how to start working with it.
Who this is for
The portal is used by operators and administrators who provision and manage CPE through the browser.
Roles & permissions
Access in the Provision Portal UI is governed by the signed-in user’s permission, enforced by the backend and by client-side route guards.
- User
-
Day-to-day operator. Can perform provisioning operations (single / multiple device, replace, status, logs) but is blocked from User Management (
PermissionGuardredirectsUSERto the single-device page). - Administrator
-
Operator capabilities plus User Management (create, update, delete users).
| What you can see and do is determined by your permission. Some pages are additionally gated by server-side feature flags — for example Deactivate Service appears only when the backend enables it. If an action is not available to you, contact an administrator to review your access. |
Accessing the portal
Once the UI container is deployed (see Installation & Deployment), open the portal in a browser:
Replace <HOST> with the address configured for your environment.
To log in:
-
Open the portal URL in your browser.
-
Enter your username and password.
-
Confirm to continue.
On success you land on the Single Device page (the default route). Invalid credentials or a lost session return you to the login page.
