Provision Portal Params

This module is currently unavailable and will be available in future versions. The documentation below is provided for reference only.

Provision Portal Params lets operators manage the params.xml snapshot with service defaults and model overrides. Changes are staged in a draft and saved as a full snapshot replacement.

When to use it

Use Provision Portal Params when you need to:

  • review the current params.xml snapshot,

  • adjust service defaults or model-specific overrides,

  • import updated params.xml with a dry-run preview,

  • export params.xml for backup or external edits.

Permissions

  • VIEWER — browse and export.

  • EDITOR / ADMIN — edit, import, and save.

VIEWER accounts run in read-only mode. Save and import apply are disabled.
  1. Open Provision Portal → params.xml.

  2. Use the search box to match id, name, friendlyName, service, or model.

  3. Expand services and models to reveal parameters.

  4. Use filters to focus on defaults, modified values, options, or overrides.

Edit parameters

  1. Select a parameter in the tree.

  2. Click Edit in the details header.

  3. Update fields and the Default toggle as needed.

  4. Click Save changes to replace the full snapshot.

Add or remove entries

  • Add Service: open a service and click Add service.

  • Add Model: switch to Models and click Add model.

  • Add Param: select a service and click Add param.

  • Delete actions are available per service/model/param and require confirmation.

Import params.xml (dry-run required)

  1. Click Import.

  2. Upload params.xml and wait for the dry-run analysis.

  3. Review the diff and details panel.

  4. If warnings exist, enable Allow warnings.

  5. Click Apply import.

Export params.xml

  1. Click Export to download the current snapshot.

Safety notes

  • Save replaces the entire snapshot.

  • Always review the dry-run diff before applying imports.
