User Profile

This section describes how to view and manage your user profile settings in FT Configs UI.

Accessing your profile

To access your profile:

  1. Click on your username or the profile icon in the application header.

  2. Select Profile from the menu.

The profile page displays your account information and provides access to personal settings.

Viewing profile information

The profile page shows the following details about your account:

Field Description

Username

Your login name. This cannot be changed.

Email

The email address associated with your account.

Role

Your assigned role (e.g., Administrator, Operator, Read-Only). This determines what actions you can perform in the system.

Locale

Your currently selected interface language.

Created

The date and time when your account was created.

Updated

The date and time when your account was last modified.

Last login

The date and time of your most recent successful login.
Profile information such as username, email, and role can only be changed by an administrator through the user management interface.

Changing language

FT Configs UI supports the following interface languages:

  • English

  • Russian (Русский)

To change the interface language:

  1. On the profile page, locate the language selector dropdown.

  2. Select the desired language from the list.

  3. The change is applied immediately — no confirmation or page reload is required.

The language setting affects:

  • all UI labels, buttons, and menu items,

  • validation messages and error texts,

  • toast notifications and dialog content.

It does not affect:

  • configuration data stored in dictionaries,

  • exported file contents,

  • API responses or backend behavior.

Changing password

To change your password, navigate to the Change Password page from your profile.

Version information

The profile page displays version information about the running application:

  • Frontend version — the version of the FT Configs UI web application.

  • Backend version — the version of the ft-configs-service backend that the UI is connected to.

This information is useful when reporting issues or verifying that the correct version is deployed.
