Bulk Data (ACS)

Bulk Data manages the Bulk Data Collection protocol configuration for ACS, including connection settings and data model definitions. Use this module to configure mass data collection from customer-premises equipment (CPE) devices.

Where to find parameter descriptions: The page shows field labels and short section subtitles only. The Fields section below explains each field.

When to use it

Use Bulk Data (ACS) to:

  • configure the connection to the Bulk Data server (host, protocol, credentials),

  • manage the list of data models for collection,

  • add or change the path of a data model,

  • export the configuration before you change it,

  • import a new configuration with a dry-run preview.

Before you start

  1. Sign in to the correct environment.

  2. Open the ACS dashboard and select Bulk Data.

  3. Check your role:

    • VIEWER: browse the configuration and use Export XML.

    • EDITOR and ADMIN: change settings, manage models, and use Import XML.

A VIEWER account works in read-only mode. You cannot edit, import, create, or delete.
