ACS Force QoE Stop

Force QoE Stop holds the stop switches for Quality of Experience (QoE) processing. Examples are Block QoE requests and Deactivate active monitors. The page also holds the Inform whitelist.

Where to find parameter descriptions: Each switch has a short explanation under its label. The Inform whitelist card shows a description and a hint under the editor.

When to use it

Use Force QoE Stop to:

  • enable or disable QoE stop actions,

  • maintain the Inform whitelist,

  • import or export the force_qoe_stop.properties snapshot.

The page manages the fixed force.qoe.stop.* configuration keys. It uses a structured form to prevent format mistakes.

Before you start

  1. Open the ACS dashboard and select Force QoE Stop.

  2. Check your role:

    • VIEWER: browse and export.

    • EDITOR and ADMIN: edit, import, and save.

A VIEWER account works in read-only mode. Save and import apply are disabled.

Change the switches

  1. Review the current state of the switches.

  2. Use the master switch Force all actions or the single switches.

  3. Select Save changes.

The master switch enables all actions without changing the single values. Each single switch controls one action on its own.

Change the Inform whitelist

  1. Add a token in the input field. Press kbd:[Enter] or enter a comma after the token.

  2. To add many tokens, paste a CSV list. The page splits the tokens.

  3. To edit the list as text, show the raw CSV.

  4. Select Save changes.

The whitelist editor stays disabled until inform_enable_white_list is enabled. The page highlights invalid tokens. Fix invalid tokens before you save.

Save or discard changes

  • Save changes applies all required keys.

  • Discard changes restores the latest snapshot.

Export a snapshot

  1. Select Export properties.

Expected result: The browser downloads the current force_qoe_stop.properties snapshot. Export the current state to keep a backup.

Import with dry-run

  1. Select Import.

  2. Select force_qoe_stop.properties.

  3. Read the dry-run difference.

  4. If the dry-run shows warnings, select Apply despite warnings.

  5. Apply the import.

A dry-run is required before you apply an import. You can apply the import only if the dry-run shows no errors.
